Ok, I need your expertise! I forgot the sour cream in one of my layers on a 4 layer tier. It is the WASC recipe. It baked up just fine, but I am curious if any of you would know how it might change taste, texture, and so on?????? Do you think it would be bad if I just use it as one of my layers? Any ideas will help!!!
It will be perfectly fine. Use it.
No one will notice. It does help with moisture but if that is the only ingredient you left out I don't think cake muggles will notice the difference.

I haven't yet heard about taste. I am baking for a cake for tomorrow. I am delivering in the morning. I didn't have to trim it either, otherwise I would have tried it myself. Hopefully nobody will even notice!
