My sil and i are making a 4 tier wedding cake covered in buttercream and it will have mehndi design in royal icing ing color. the fillings on some of the tiers do have strawberry preserve type filling. the wedding is sat. today is thurs. I cant decorate with royal icing and place back in the fridge.

I live in florida so it's a very certain that by the time i get to the location the royal icing would have melted of with the condensation from the cake. so my question is if i decorate it tomorrow can I leave it out over night to deliver on sat. with out risking that it will go bad and people will get sick from the cake???

You can leave strawberry preserves out. They'll be fine.
