Can some one please tell me how to make ice cubes for a cooler cake. I have tried using the Knox geletin, but they leak and start to run. Any other suggestions?

Thanks
Michelle

I made the ice for my monster energy drink cake (in my photos) with poured sugar. I just poured it out on a silicone mat and broke it up. I have bought the brownie bite silicone pan since then, and will try to make the cubes with that next time. I tried the geletin on my first bucket cake and I had a problem with it making the fondant wet. The surgar worked great.

I never made ice cubes but my friend made hers out of gelatin. She told me she used half the water it called for. She said the cake out ok.
