I want to send some designers cookie replicas of their fashions for my promos. A lot of their sites say something about no reproduction of images without permission. I don't want a designer to take me sending them something as me copying their designs for profit. In a way yes, but they are my target audience i'm trying to get to purchase the item. What do I say when asking for permission to use their designs to send to them? What is the proper way to go about this?

Send them a letter introducing yourself, telling them what you do and asking them for their permission to reproduce their fashions in cookies. Let them know if given permission, the cookies would only be available to them for purchase.
