I just used my cake dummies for the first time tonight and I am sooooo happy with how they turned out. I have a lot of practice to do and they are going to help so much.

I made a graduated yellow cake with yellow roses on it. I've been thinking a lot about my dad lately(he passed away a year ago) and yellow was his favorite color and roses was his favorite flower. so....

I'll post a picture soon but I don't have very good lighting and it's two a.m. here.

I decorated a bunch for display and I really like the way they turned out too. What did you use for frosting? I used royal so it would hold up extra long--

I used MMF. I did it really last minute. My husband was like "why don't you do a cake?" So I did!

Nah--I never thought to post pictures of dummy cakes-- I suppose I could. I'll try to remember to do that soon.
