My mom gave me a french vanilla cake mix and I want to "doctor" it up. I don't just want to use it as it is...anyone have any recipes?

I add a small box of Fr. Vanilla pudding to the dry mix and then use 3/4c milk, 3/4c oil & 4 eggs for a rich dense cake.

You can also sub 1c. Buttermilk & add an extra egg.

OR

Add sm Fr Van pudding, 1c sour cream, 3/4c oil, 1/2c water & 4 eggs.

Any of these will make for a moist rich cake.

Walmart carries a Fr. Vanilla variation of the instant pudding.

Thanks Kristy!
Im glad you wrote that Walmart carries french vanilla pudding cuz I haven't been able to find it at the grocery store, I wouldn't have even thought to look at walmart.

Just wanted to say that I use the 3rd recipe (with pudding, sour cream etc.) and it turned out awesome! Very moist and tasty! Thanks again Kristy
