I really want to wow my brides at the next bridal fair. I want to make a motorized turn table for my biggest cake. Does anyone have any tips on how to make them?

Thanks!

I read somewhere on here about using a rotating Christmas tree stand( sorry wish I could give credit where credit is do) I found one at a garage sale for $12 but you can also get them on Ebay. I had my cousin weld me a stand to go in it. Rotates just right but I haven't tested it to see how much it will hold yet. HTH

did someone just tell us how much she or someone else in the house weighs?

(can see it know -- "here, I'll stand on the stand and you (to hubby) turn it on"

"whatever dear"

"wheee"

"sigh! -- are you done now dear?"

We bought a rotating Christmas tree in 2002 and it has been the highlight of Christmas.

It just konked out last Christmas. We're going to miss it.

I hope your turning cake stand turns out great!

140 Ponds I wish icon_biggrin.gif !!! Doug you are to funny but I used dumbells instead
I read it on here somewhere and we happend to have been at a garage sale and it was the whole tree with the stand told the husband I wanted it he said NO (only because I put up about 12 trees at Christmas on being real and around 14ft tall) I had to tell him I didn't even want the tree!!!
When I say its for cake he dosen't even question anymore.
