Cake Extender Recipe For Duncan Hines

I loves the DH Dark Chocolate Fudge Cake but the last few times I tried baking it with my usual extender the cake haven't turned out as expected. I've heard that DH has changed their formula and they no longer work with some recipes. Does anyone have a cake extender that will work with the new DH formula?

This is the only chocolate cake mix that I use. I use 1 c. flour , 1 c. sugar
3/4 c. strong cold coffee, 1/4 c. chocolate syrup, 4 eggs, 1 tbsp. vanilla and 1 c. sour cream.
bake 325 until done.
I haven't noticed any changes in my recipe and I always use the DH Dark Chocolate Fudge cake mix. Is your extender recipe different than mine?
