Hey, I have my first topsy turvy this weekend. Can someone tell me what sized layers to use on a 3 tier cake? Do I need to use 10, 8, and 6? or should I have more space in between layers?

Well, thats the thing, only 30 people. I am going to use a dummy bottom tier. But I am worried that there wont be enough room in between the tiers. Should I allow 2 or 4 inches between pan sizes. The customer will pay accordingly.

First one, and it's due this weekend? Ouch. There's a great tutorial here on CC, just go to the articles section and look it up. I think there's sizing there too if I remember right. Good luck!

There is a tutorial on it in that section on CC. He explains it very well. I plan on making one myself. I have to figure out how much fondant to use!
