I was asked to do a Toy Story cake, I was wanting to try and make a Buzz, and Woody figure to go on the top of the cake,. Which medium would be the best to do this, modeling chocolate, gum paste, or fondant? Any suggestion would be appreciated.

hi i just made buzz lightyear out of gumpaste and he turned out ok. its quite tricky but i got there in the end. i am sure if you took your time with a pic of him handy you could do it better than me as i was just messing about quite late at night.
by the way fondanet is far too soft to make a model with. gumpaste is stronger and dries much quicker. my buzz was solid after a day!
