Hi Cakers!

I want to make some gumpaste flowers. I am going to do them in white. I want to dust some color on them to create the colors.

Should I buy Petal or Luster Dust.

Confused on which I should buy...

Thanks,

Michael

petal dusts will give you a more natural looking flower.

I just bought my first dusts and they are so fun to use! I love sparkly stuff, so I opted to get luster dusts instead of petal dusts. Petal dusts will probably make more realistic flowers if that's what you're going for, but I absolutely love the luminous sparkles created by luster dusts.

And don't get me started on gold and silver highlighter dust, and Disco Dust and, and .....

The cheapest place I found to buy on line was l u s t e r d u s t . c o m. They have a flat $6 shipping fee.

Good luck.
