A client called me for a groom's cake order. They really like the birch tree look and want to incorporate hunting/fishing into the theme.

Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

I was trying to find something that wasn't too kiddish; here's one out of two you could make birch trees instead of the trees that's on it.

Here's another one; it's a bigger cake with a lot of details but it's great.

Here's a picture of a cake with the birch bark effect. Might give you a few ideas: http://www.cakesoutsidethebox.com/birch%20bark.jpg
