3D Structure Help!!

Soon I have to make a standing up, 3d horse(not cartoonish but to replicate a beloved horse that just passed away.). It doesnt have to feed a lot and needs to fit in a smaller fridge.

I was thinking modeling chocolate, PVC, and fondant but i also need to have cake in the body. help! I've also never done modeling chocolate or worked with PVC pipes. Do you do something to make them food safe? How do you connect them? Thank you! icon_smile.gif

Someone submitted a cake entry for the newest contest, and it shows how they did it. As for using PVC, two things, you can bend it by using a heat gun or blow torch for a couple of seconds then bend the pipe (wear leather gloves) second melt marshmellows and smear onto the pvc b/f you wrap it with rkt or modeling chocolate.
