Hi guys!

I am making a cake to look like a cereal box on its side. Can anyone give me recommendations on how to do the box flaps? Is there a way to do it where i do not have one large piece of fondant for the flap and the rest of the box face? (The cake will be fairly small, a 9x13 and most likely a single layer.)

I am also doing a bowl of cereal....any recommendations on the best way to cover the bowl shape (Half of a sphere) with fondant?

Thanks so much!

I would do the box and flaps as one piece. I think I'd have trouble attatching the flaps and getting them to stay.

as for the bowl, I think I'd ice and cover it with fondant upside down, then turn it over.
