I am making a cake for a wedding coming up and was wondering if anyone had any experience using cake dummies as separators between the tiers. My plan is to have each dummy covered with gumpaste flowers attached. My dilema is that the flowers are calla lilies and I'm having a hard time getting them to look right. The only cakes I've seen done this way before are with roses....any thoughts?

Nevermind, I did the cake this weekend. I'm surprised with all the views not one person had a suggestion.....

Did the cake turn out ok? I just saw this but I wouldnt have known what to say either. I have a hard time with calla lillies too. I always think they look like funny looking ears sticking out.
