Hi there, How do you flavor BC. I have added fillings to the bc and it comes out all weird. white dots in the red like it is separating. Is there a thread on flavoring bc? Thanks a bunch!

Any flavoring like vanilla or extracts or flavoring oils.

There is a HUGE difference between flavorings/extracts/oils and what you are using. No wonder you had problems w/it seperating.
Like Leah said, just add a teaspoon or up to a tablespoon of *flavorin or extract* to your b'cream.
I like lots of flavor, so I use a tablespoon of a combination of vanilla, butter and almond flavorings per recipe of icing using 2#s of sugar. I make up the flavoring ahead and have it on hand already mixed.
Use 1 part of vanilla; 1/2 part butter and 1/4 part of almond extracts.
A 'part' is *any* measure you want be it a teaspoon, tablespoon, cup or gallon icon_smile.gif
Usually I use cups to measure so it would be: 1 cup vanilla; 1/2 cup butter flavor and 1/4 cup almond extract. And....YES! use the *real* thing -- real vanilla!
