I am going to be making cupcakes for our wedding anniversary. I was wondering how to make the fancy frosting design that I have seen so many times on cupcakes?

Thank you! icon_biggrin.gif

That style is done with a large plain/round tip. I start at the outside edge of the cuppie and then swirl around to the middle and build up the center as you swirl it around.

If you want the fluted swirls you will need a BIG closed-star tip. Mine is a 1B. Again, start at the edge and swirl the frosting around & in to the middle. These cuppies were done that way.
