Double Stacking Cheesecakes

yes it is me again with ANOTHER cheesecake question..LOL When you double up on your cheesecakes for one tier do you put a cake board in between because of the weight? and then frost it to look like one cake? Just trying to see how everyone does it. I have been practicing making my cheesecakes but gettng ready to double them up now. Thank you!
