My wedding is August 14th (Saturday). Unfrosted cupcakes are made and in the freezer. I was thinking of taking them out on Thursday and frosting them Friday.
1) Can I leave them on the counter to defrost after I take them out, or should they go directly into the fridge?
2) Once I frost on Friday, should/can I leave them on the counter until the wedding Saturday night?
Basic white and yellow cupcakes. Basic BC icing.
counter all the way. i don't recommend the fridge b/c it can dry cake out
Sounds good to me! And easier. No need to buy a bunch of airtight containers and clear out the fridge.
I've already cut down plastic cups and glued them to the bottom of a bunch of boxes for storage and transportation.
