I have heard that using the cake mixes that require butter just doesn't work the same with the WASC recipe base.
I need a Butter yellow cake flavor recipe for a job coming up...I love using WASC for my cake flavors. Do you have anything that works giving me the Butter Yellow cake Flavor?
I make BC butter recipe yellow according to the box but add:
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
It's really good.
How dense is the cake? I need something good for carving/stacking.
I use the doctored WASC and sub in butter flavor for the almond....then use the classic yellow Duncan Hines....we love it!
