Hey everyone! I'm a med student that bakes some cakes for fun, and i tried a flower cake these last weeks. It happens that i'm a little concerned about using wires on cakes so i tried it without wires. Of course, it looks terrible... The flowers look heavy and not as many cakes i see here... Is the wire a real problem? Can i do a flower cake without using any wire on them? I would love some tips to help me improve... Here the cake i mention... Thanks in advance! icon_redface.gif [/img]

as long as you dont stick wires straight into the cake it should be fine rather use staws or flower picks to insert the wires into., I always tell people not to eat the flowers, but rather to keep them,
