I'm making a banana nut cake for my boss but can't decide what kind of filling to try with it. Anyone have an idea that comes to mind? I was thinking of topping with a cream cheese BC. Maybe a mild-tasting banana filling? I don't want to incorporate too many flavors so that its overwhelming...what do you think?

Cream Cheese filling sounds good. We here in the south make Banana Pudding, with banana's and vanilla pudding/ custard.
Personally, I'd love a banana nut cake with a thin layer of chocolate filling, or even a hazelnut filling.
Just a thought...
