I think I have messed up. I am in the process of mixing up a rose red color and I used Americolor Super Red. What can I put with it to get the darker color of red that I am in need of?

adding a TINY amount of black will produce a rich dark red.

I did that and ended up with ugly brick red roses! Be careful to only use the tiniest bit. But, I was able to save the roses. Thank goodness for rose red petal dust!

Does petal dust work good on royal icing?

petal dust will work after you let the flowers dry hard.
