Gumpaste flowers will last like almost forever icon_smile.gif well that's probably exaggerating but I always have flowers in reserve. As long as they are stored properly and away from moisture they will last and last. A lot of people keep gumpaste flowers from their cakes as keepsakes for years
hope this helps icon_biggrin.gif

The above roses were made in Feb of 2008. They still sit on my mom's bar at her house to this day. They are a little dusty but other than that fine. Now I wouldn't put them on a cake at this point, but you can see that you can make them well in advance and they will be fine.

If you are doing them for a cake, you just want to keep them in a cool, dry enviroment. To keep completed flowers from getting dusty I would just put them in a cardboard cake box so they are covered.
