Hi everyone. Im kinda new here lol Like many of you I started decorating cakes at home for family and friends for free and as a hobby. But now that i started getting into fondant cakes and alot of friends are asking for tiered bday, graduation, even an engagement cakes, I came to realize I really need to start charging for my work lol

Can you guys help me out with an idea of how much i should be charging?

how much do u guys think i should of charged for this cake?

also i have been asked to make a 3 tiered fondant sex and the city themed cake for this month that would feed around 50ish people. How much should I charge? this would be my first 3 tiered cake.

The first thing to consider:

How much does it cost you to make the cake? Including *everything* you use.

How much is your time worth? What is your hourly wage and about how long do you think it will take you from start to finish?

How much profit do you want to make?
