I was asked to do karaoke themed cupcakes for a birthday party for this weekend. Any ideas on toppers? Already thinking about microphones, music notes and.....Any ideas? I need some quick inspiration!!!

I would do microphones, Cd's, music notes, and maybe a beer glass if age appropriate as drinking usually happens at karaoke!

First thing that came to my mind even before finishing reading was the musical notes & microphones for sure...depending on the age group...a record album...the younger crowd might not know waht those are lol...or Cd's for the younger crowd.

I immediately thought of microphones.

Maybe you could even write some lyrics on a cupcake with the words at the beginning of the phrase in a different color to appear "highlighted" and the rest of the phrase in black writing. Or a "bouncing dot" over the words to indicate which word is being sung then.
