Okay so here is a quick, not great quailty picture (took it on my phone) of one of the cakes I did for the convention. I brought it over to work so we could measure for the boxes and I got told several times it needs something on top. I've also been told not to put something on top, but someone else.

So what are your thoughts? Does it look unfinished? Or does it look good as is?

I do have three flowers left, that I had planned to carry as back up flowers. One had to have a petal repair. I ran out of the darker green that I used on the sides, so I'd have to make more and try to match it. Or I could make a larger flower to lay up there. I'm leaving Friday, so that would give it 3 drying days before I go. Or course I was planning on taking pictures tomorrow evening, since I have class Wed and Thurs nights.

So flower and swirl or leave it plain?

Hmmm...beautiful job, but I would like to see a topper. But it is very nice without it too. icon_smile.gif

this is beautiful.I love it.
I'd put flowers on top.Or perhaps make one big flower and set that on top.
Have a fun and safe trip!
