Does anyone have a good crumbcoat buttercream recipe? Something to go well with fondant?

I prefer IMBC under fondant. I use either the recipe "Kaye's Buttercream" from the Whimsical Bakehouse cookbook, or the "Moussaline Buttercream" recipe from The Cake Bible. I'm sure there are some good meringue-based BC recipes here in the recipe section, too.

I have tried many buttercreams and love Sugershacks buttercream the best. Taste and performance are great. I think it's personal preference thou, try a few and see what you like.

Lots of CCers swear by Indydebi's BC. Maybe give that one a try. icon_smile.gif

I would not recommend Whimsical Bakehouse House Buttercream. Although it's my very favorite icing for taste, I think it remains too slippery for crumbcoating, especially if using under fondant.
