Saw this online and thought I would share. I didn't conduct this test, but I wonder if they would have different results if they doctored the mixes.

Aparently King Arthur Flour's mix is the winner. At the price shown, I don't think I will be buying it any time soon.

all of the things the testers said about the other boxes, except for PB, I totally agree with! that's why I use PB icon_biggrin.gif

I used King Arthur's chocolate cake mix for a recent cake, because it is dairy-free and my son has a cow's milk allergy. I thought it was absolutely fabulous, but yeah, really pricey, especially with shipping.

Pillsbury is also my first choice for "supermarket" cake mixes, as far as taste and texture. icon_smile.gif

I have never tried Pillsbury. I always used DH or BC.
