I am making a specialty key lime cake this week, usually I use my own key lime BC recipe but it won't hold up very well to the heat this cake will be in. I really like Indydebi's recipe but I need the Key Lime flavor to be pretty prominent. Would I beable to substitute most of the milk with key lime juice (bottled) and maybe use 2-3TBS milk instead? I'm just not sure if the milk has anything to do with the dream whip working, I want it to hold up to the heat as usual! Any advice is much appreciated icon_smile.gif

I don't see why you couldn't. I would use 3 or 4 TBSP. of milk and sub the rest of the liquid with the key lime. I bet that is one good cake.

Thanks Mamarobin icon_biggrin.gif I think I will take your advice and use 3-4 Tbs milk and the rest key lime, I'm sure it will turn out fine! I'll let you know....
