Hi! I'm having a REALLY hard time getting gumpaste to be a deep maroon color. I've added a ton of red and burgundy, and right now it's just a light red/purple color... I let it sit overnight which I thought might do the trick, but it's still really light. Any suggestions?

Use powdered colours.
Dust with a maroon dusting powder.
Airbrush.

Are there any tricks for doing it with gel colors? I don't have an airbrush or powdered colors...
