I need something simple for a ladies' lunch on Saturday. Thought lemon is always a good taste on a hot day.
I have seen some recipes for layered cakes with lemon curd, with just a light glaze or dusting of powdered sugar.

Any TNT ideas?

My husband's favorite cake growing up was a lemon bundt cake with lemon juice & powdered sugar glaze. (My MIL doesn't like frosted cakes so didn't make them for her kids!) It's lovely and quick (compared to a frosted and "smoothed" cake).[/list]
