Which is better for a 3 tier wedding cake; pound cake or normal cake recipe? The sizes are 8, 12, 16 sqoared covered in fondant. Also what are some good recipes for the one you seuggest please.
It really makes no difference what type of cake you use. A softer more delicate cake will be harder to cover in fondant though,but as for structurally and stacking goes, all of the weight is on the pillars not the cake itself!!!.
