Hi there,
Am getting great info and inspiration from CC for cakes and techniques. I just wondered if anyone could recommend a book I could use for Modelling figures/People/Characters from fondant/gumpaste. I love doing animals but would like to have a book to get the basic techniques for people. Does anyone have a "bible" that helped them get started??
Thanks

I like Maisie Parrish's and Debbie Brown's books. They are well illustrated and lots of detail for the beginner. Yet the designs are such fun they inspire you to try more and more. Queen of modelling though has to be Lorraine McKay (Aine2) http://www.extraicing.co.uk/. She has some brilliant tutorials you can purchase from the website and also tutorials online.

Polymer clay has a good book - only the medium used would be fondant/gumpaste.
