My grandfathers birthday is coming up and I want to make him a cool topsy turvy cake. I have made topsy turvy cakes before but I want to use the wedge method this time (which I haven't done yet). It will only be a 2 tiered topsy but I have to drive over 2 hours to get to his farm and am a little concered about the cake making it their in one piece. Does anyone have any tips or ideas about transporting this cake? Thanks so much in advance.
I think I remember Colette Peters saying that those need to be assembled on site.
