Does anyone know if you can use cutters with these like you would do with gumpaste. I know you can buy the sheets for it but while I am waiting on those thought I could try this.

The gelatin sheets that I have tied (Dr. Oetker) are very firm, but flexible, like a solid piece of plastic. They almost feel like a plastic gift card and I cut them with scissors. Unless there are different types of gelatin sheets there is no way you could use cutters with them.

I have made the gelatin butterflies which start out as a sheet of gelatin. The directions are on the homepage of CC under tutorials. If you trace with an edible pen around a cutter then use scissors I think it will work. It is really easy to make your own gelatin sheets - cheap too.
