Hey, everyone! I've been away for so long, but for good reason! We moved across town into a house where we could transform the "formal living/sitting room" into my cakery! Here are the pics. I still have some small things left to do like put more dots on the back wall, but overall it will serve nicely!

I am so jealous of all of your space and natural light! Enjoy your new space! Maybe I should consider something like that for our next house (when we 3 years).

It's very pretty, I love the pink! You do quite a nice job of decorating.

The puddling effect on the table cloth for your holding table looks very nice, but may be a safety hazard. Fabric on a hardwood floor can become slippery if accidentally stepped on. Ask me how I know, I have a scar on my chin from a fall. You may want to consider shortening it up a bit (just so it touches the floor, but not puddling), making sure your foot would not get caught on it. If you are carrying a big, finished cake and your foot caught the edge, it could spell disaster. Also, if a customer walked over to the table and slipped on the fabric, they may sue.

Again, your room is lovely!

I am house hunting for the same reason, love your space and how you decorated it!
I am taking over the formal dining room too icon_lol.gif
My husband only gets the basement and the garage.

Thanks, everyone!

I bought 4 folding chairs to add to the table and put chair covers over them. I have 2 pink and 2 brown sashes to add for the final touch. Trying to sell the whole "idea" of a wedding, not just the cake.

I love how they will finally see where I make my cakes, as opposed to meeting at Starbucks.

I haven't considered the puddling of the tablecloth being a hazard. With the addition of the chairs, it's hard NOT to walk around the table-you'd have to really walk up next to it to step on the tablecloth.
