How do I prevent my chocolate cakes from falling apart or having so much crumbs? I've noticed that I only have this problem with chocolate. Sometimes chunks will fall off or at the very least, I'll have lots of crumbs. What should I do? I'm afraid of making chocolate cakes now!
are you using scratch or box mix?
it could be a couple things: baking too long, too high of oven temp. not enough oil or egg??? I don't know your recipe. I use a box mix and I always add a box of instant pudding and an extra egg. makes them real moist and combines the ingredients together very well.
