Store Bought Frosting

I' am wondering how betty crocker frosting will hold up under fondant, I dont really like buttercream and am in a time crunch to get the cake done in a day or two. Does anyone know if this will work?

It's very difficult to get canned icing perfectly smooth, so you're likely to have lumps and bulges and stuff. Also, I would be concerned that the fondant would just slip, seeing as the canned icing is on the slick side. icon_sad.gif

Have you considered ganache under the fondant?? Great instructions and info in this thread:

Thanks for the reply, I would try the ganache but there cant be chocolate on the cake icon_sad.gif
