Bow Help Please!!!!

i'm so frustrated! i'm trying to make a bow. i mixed my fondant with gum tex. i've watched a few different tutorials on it, but my bow keeps ripping. do you think i'm rolling it too thin? help please!

I'm guessing that it is too thin. I have to tell you at first I wondered if I would ever be able to make a bow... now some how it works for me (usually). Good luck. I am sure it will work for you.

thanks for the reply. i'll try and roll it out a little thicker. gum tex mixed in will work to hold it's shape, right?

Depending on the style, you need to dry it standing on its edge or stuffed with plastic wrap or hanging over a thick dowel. Fondant and gum tex will not hold its shape the way straight gumpaste will.
