Does anyone know if there is a way to cover sugar cookies with fondant and keep them crisp?
Also how far ahead can you make them?

My cookies stay the same texture with the fondant on them. They are the chewy kind. When I was going through my R&D phase I tried some with crispy cookies. Stayed the same texture, even after a week.

You can make cookie as far in advance as you need to for the order. If I have a fairly small, simple order I make it closer to the due date. If I have 300 cookies or more I start about two weeks before the due date. For me it depends on the design of the cookie and the quantity needed.

Hope that helps.

Can I ask what recipe you use?
