I am making a carriage cake for my friend's baby shower on July 31st. I am making a chocolate chip poundcake and wanted to cover the cake in marshmallow fondant. I have only ever used buttercream under mm fondant. I would like to know if i can use cream cheese frosting under mmf and what is a good not so sweet and not too runny recipe to use... or if you would a different frosting underneath. Please, any advice will be helpful. Thank you!!!

I have used the Crusting Cream Cheese Icing recipe that I found on CC, but I know that I have seen people that have discussed adapting Indydebi's Buttercream into a cream cheese flavored icing. I believe both would hold up well under fondant. HTH
