I just got the first and ten pan and the soccer pan, Can I bake 2 of each and stick them together to make a full ball??

I plan on covering in fondant.

Thanks y'all!

If I remember correctly, the soccer ball is not quite a full half ball, so you might need to add a single layer round of the appropriate size to fill in. Putting two halves together without the extra layer 1-2" or however much, will result in a slightly flattened ball.

Your cake needs to be really dense to not collapse, or you could make the bottom half out of rice cereal treats, using less butter so it sets up firmer. I've seen on Ace of Cakes that they use styrofoam for the bottom half, for structure stability.

Remember to slice a sliver off the very bottom so it sits flat, as well. You don't want it to roll away icon_wink.gif

Good Luck! thumbs_up.gif
