A close family friend is having a Mary Kay party and she wants me to make her a cake to have at this party.

I was thinking summer, like flowers, something girly but the more I think about it the more I talk myself out of it! LOL

I need some ideas....

Thanks!

when I think mary kay -- I think PINK Cadillac

that could be a cake (2D or 3D)

or cuppies with fondant cutout on top

or even cookies

I'll leave it to the ladies to instruct/advise what to do with lipsticks, compacts, lotions and all that other spa/makeover stuff that makes for a cute cake

How about duplicating one of their makeup purses and makeup around it.

Yeah, Doug, great minds and all that-
Pink Cadillac is the first thing that popped in my head when I saw the subject line.

how about a cake shaped like a bottle of nail polish. I dont know if the y make a cake pan shaped like that though. The bottom could be a square cake pan with the corners rounded off. the long part on the top could be a cake baked in a bread baking pan (just cut in half).

heres a few photos of nail polish cakes

or a cake shaped like a purse or a cake shaped like a tube of mascara that says mary kay on it.
