I am tryng to to find out how to make a Louis Vutton cake. But I am stumped on how to make the gold lettering. I tried making the gold dust but it did not get dark enough. It was more yellow. any suggestions.

Global Sugar Art sells a gold luster dust that absolutely makes a metallic gold like the LV logo. I mixed it with vodka into a thick paste and paint it on. You don't want it too thin, so that it runs before it dries. You will have to make your own LV stencil by going online finding a good logo to use. I have not found one already made anywhere.

I looked at globalsugarart..there are so many gold luster dusts...super gold, aztec gold, old gold, pale gold...which one is the best for the LV logo?
