Hi Everyone,

I love this site, great sharing ideas site.

Where would I be able to find the LV logo template?

Thanks!

There is no template for a LV logo. You would have to print one off from the web and then cut it out with an exact knife and then roll out gumpaste and do the same thing over top. That is what I did to make my LV logo for my 3D Purse cake.

Welcome to CC!!!

It can also be done with cutters....Here's a Louis V cake made by the incredible sugarshack: http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=606503

Here's an old post where she gives links to the cutters she used and some instructions: http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=327683&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=instructions&&start=0

Some of the links are no longer valid....so here's an update:

On this page: http://polymerclayexpress.com/cutters2.html
she used:
... PCSSQ 5 Squares, 3/8 - 3/4" $9.00
... Kemper Circle Cutter Set 3/16" - 3/4" All 7 Kemper Circle Cutters $14.00
... PCSL 4 Lilac cutters $8.00

The last cutter is here: http://www.globalsugarart.com/product.php?id=16591&name=FMM%20Daphne%20Cutter

I've always wanted to try a Louis Vuitton purse cake, thanks for the links to Sugarshack's instructions! Her cake looks awesome!

Isn't her purse the best...I purchased those clay cutters myself ages ago and still haven't made her bag!

This is where a cricut would come i handy.

I know I'm extremely late with this, but can you use a cricut machine for something that's not on one of their cartridges?

I was trying to find that out, and came across this...
