I have read ALOT of posts about the Cricut and and going to take the plunge and buy one but...aside from the price difference can anyone help me with comparison. What does one have or do that the other one does not? I want to use it for cake related things but also would like to be able to cut paper etc. Thank you so much for everyones posts about the Cricut already they have so much information.

I don't have either, but what i do know is if you want to use the expressions for cakes you need to remove the metal wheels. Also the cake comes with a "skirt" that goes around the cartridge to keep food dust out of the mechanics.

Thank you very much that is exactly what I was needing to know. I was getting confused on the differences. I guess either one will be fine. I have been checking ebay for new unopened ones and think that is the way I am going to go and by the way I didnt even know Martha had her own but wait of course she would icon_rolleyes.gif
