no, but I'm intrigued by the idea. Would the fat in the kiss compromise the gumpaste hardening?

You leave the foil on them.
I have used jelly beans and foam Easter eggs as centres.

I just bought some celbuds, but haven't used them yet. The idea of Hershey kisses is intriguing. So cheap, too!

I've used mini Tootsie Pops and "Dum dums" lollipops, but have only used Hershey's Kisses (unwrapped) in buttercream roses.

Maybe what I read was for the buttercream one. Worth a shot maybe. I like the dum dum pop idea do u unwrap them first?

Dum Dum's are the best. Not only do they give you a premade stem, it's food safe.

When I make my roses with dum dums I cut a heart out of fondant and cut it in half and use that to start the bud. I wrap it around the top of the dum dum and it sticks perfect, no extra "glue" needed.
