I am making a 9X13X2 pound cake for a birthday party at 2pm this Saturday. I want to bake, cool, and freeze the cake on Thursday night.

My questions are:
1. Should I level the cake before freezing?
2. Will I be able to crumb coat and frost the cake after freezing without it crumbling/falling apart?
3. Will it be fresh for Saturday?
4. What should I freeze it in? I have plastic wrap and aluminum foil at home right now.

Edited to add one more question: What size cake board and cake box should I get for this size cake?

I will appreciate any advice on this! Thank you in advance !
