I made my daughters cake yesterday for her 3rd b-day. When I uploaded the picture I thought I would look at the cake I made last year exactly one year ago. That made me laugh...out loud. I know I still have a long way to go but I think in comparison I have also come a long way and I owe it totally and 100% to you guys right here on CC. I have not taken any classes everything I try I have seen here any tutorials I have watched/read I have found on here. I am still learning but there are two things I know for sure. 1. Next year will be even better. and 2. I will have leaned it all here!

Your Dora cake is really cute! I know exactly what you mean - I look at my pre- and post-CC cakes and the difference is amazing. I joined CC and started taking classes at about the same time, but I have to say that at least 50% of what I know about decorating has come from the wonderful people on this site.
